Hunting Methods

We hunt our whitetails and exotics utilizing variety of methods. Portable tripod stands over fresh scrapes and travel routes, ground box blinds, elevated tower stands over feeding areas, still hunting, and rattling antlers together. Guides are well seasoned and guide one guide for every two hunters. Our routine is to leave well before daylight for the morning hunt, return for lunch late morning, and go back out for the evening hunt later in the afternoon. Those who choose to hunt all day will be accommodated. The rut for whitetails in our area generally runs from November 20 through December 10, with secondary rut starting approximately December 27.

The ranch is made up of deep cedar canyons, mesquite flats, shinoak ridges, creek bottoms, with oaks and cedars prevailing in canyons and on hillsides.
